This organizaion's purpose is to entertain the parents, student body, and Arrow fans with performances at pre-game and half-time shows, and to promote school spirit with the support of the Band and football team. The sweet 16 is involved with all Marching Band Activities.

This organization is affiliated with the Ashland High School Marching Band.
Membership Requirements:
The Sweet Sixteen must audition to become dancers on the squad. They have a limited amount of time to learn a dance, technique, kick, and march routine. They are evaluated by a panel of 6-8 judges, and 18 girls are chosen. Sixteen dance for each performance, and they alternate sit-out times.
Officers:
Captains are seniors who have served at least one year on the squad, selected by the advisors and voted on by the dancers. There may be one Captain, Co-Captains, Tri-Captains.
Meetings:
Practices are held on weekdays after school on the practice field or in the high school lobby for 1 ½ - 2 hours, with performances each Friday night of the football season. Sweeties also participate in Band Camp, which consists of two weeks of 8-hour daily practices, to learn all of the material for the season.
